Eyewitnesses told The Eye that the couple were with two bodyguards, and dined with fellow American actor Sam Elliott, who is also in the movie Ghost Rider.  

After the meal at Flower Drum, the couple went across to hip bar Ding Dong for a drink.

That is where Cage fan Sarjeet Sandhu noticed him and got a quick photo.

Sarjeet said he was a warm and friendly man.

One witness at the restaurant said Cage was in a striking maroon suit and tried hard not to draw attention to himself.

"Mr Cage was seated in the back, far corner of the restaurant dining with some friends and his lovely wife, and it was amazing to see people's sudden urge to constantly attend the amenities that were conveniently situated in that general direction," the witness said.

"He tried to not draw any attention himself, but alas all efforts were wasted as his presence caused quite a buzz of excitement throughout the restaurant and security was on definite full alert."
